Most of the games were in the evenings on Thursdays, so Nick would come home from work and go straight to the games. The games were a little slow and a little boring, but he was also very tired. This is what he did most of the time when Madison wasn't up to bat. Sweet Pea always snuggles up into our coats when we are outside, so she watched the game while Nick took a nap.
When we could actually get her to pay attention to what was going on (she thought it was a little slow and boring, too, when she wasn't up to bat) she did pretty good. She was the only girl on the Orioles team. It was kind of funny to watch the kids stand out in the field and throw their mits up in the air and sit down 'cause they were bored.
